I CAN BE MY BIGGEST OBSTACLE .

For too many years, I was stuck because I believed that I couldn’t overcome the many obstacles that came my way. I would give up before I ever really tried because the fear of failure weighed me down like a ton of bricks. I was so accustomed to never giving my all that I missed out on Opportunity after Opportunity.

I was so stuck in my way, that failure seemed my only option and so I began to believe that I was a failure. That I would never amount to anything and that I was destined to continue on this path of hopelessness, uselessness and worthlessness. I had lost all faith of ever getting out of my hell hole of a existence.

I WAS WRONG.

I counted myself out, but there was another way. I found relief from my situation when I asked for HELP. Once I was pointed in the right direction it was up to me to do the work. Once I started to apply myself and take healthy risks my life began to change. Those same obstacles that held me back before I started to overcome and I continue to overcome them today.

I am grateful for the process of recovery. It has taught me that the only limits to my success are those that I place on myself.

TODAY I REACH FOR THE STARS.
NOTHING OR NO ONE CAN STOP ME…

I CAN ONLY STOP MYSELF.

Peace and Blessings

  1. You counted yourself out. I find it interesting that after you got help, you got direction, that your recovery depends on your counting on yourself. It only worked when you put yourself back into the equation. Thank you for opening a window of understanding.

    • Yes I have a great network of support but they can only guide me and give me suggestions. I have to be willing to do the work. Ultimately I am responsible for my recovery. The old saying is true..you cannlead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. I am still willing to drink the water because it saved my life.
